Darth Vader (or the mechanical version of Anakin Skywalker) helped Emperor Palpatine hunt down and exterminate all of what was remaining of the Jedi (Yoda and Obi-Wan excepted and look at what that did to them). He was the Emperors Right Hand and whiled nearly as much power as his master did. After a battle to a stalemate with Boba Fett on Maryx Minor they worked out a respectable truce. Shortly before the Battle of Yavin, he killed the Dark Woman, one of the last stragglers from the Jedi purge and a woman who had known him when his was an uncorrupted boy. Later once the Rebels stole the Death Star plans he worked to retrieve them and in this he took Princess Leia as a captive, he never realized he was tormenting his own daughter. Soon after Obi-Wan Kenobi came and they had their second and last battle, and Obi-Wan Kenobi was killed (personally I think he disappeared because he excepted his fait and became one with the Force. I mean come on Darth Vader steps on his robes like he was wondering where the heck his body went). The Rebels attack on the Death Star came next, while defending his base (I guess you could call it that) he could strongly since the Force in of the Rebel pilots, he later finds out that it is his son Luke Skywalker. He later has Boba Fett help him set a trap so he can retrieve his son and bring him to the dark side. His planes were spoiled once Luke fell down one the air ducks of Cloud City. He later brings his son to the Emperor and in a last battle he learns of Leia being his daughter and once he see that his son is being killed by his own master attacks him and is killed from the lighting blast. His last and final thoughts before becoming one with the Force were of his Wife (now isnt that sweet).

Ok this is corny and short but I would have to read all the books on Darth Vader and I really dont have the time.
